Why are backgrounds important?

Using backgrounds on sections and columns is important to add a rich tone to your site. From images to flat colors and gradients, mastering the details really counts. Taking it to another level would be adding a parallax effect.

Quick steps

1. Select an existing section or create a new one using the “Insert” button
2. Navigate to “Styles” in the side panel and select “Fill”
3. Adjust background color
4. Use the top row to toggle between gradients or select an image
5. Select an image from your device or access free images with the Unsplash button at the bottom
