Why are shadow effects important?
Using shadows is a great way to highlight content on your website and make it look more engaging without adding too many transitions or borders.
Quick steps
- Select an element on your page (e.g., a button)
- Navigate to the Style section in the right-hand side panel
- Select ‘Add’ next to the Shadow property
- Use the pop-up to adjust settings like Type, Position and Color
- Note: Box shadows create a single shadow effect which you can manually layer, while realistic shadows are automatically layered for a higher fidelity result.
